The Lab is where Ambaum builds its own software. Each build starts as a problem we hit ourselves or with a client. Aperchur, Platen and Founderie are the three that grew into products of their own.

The Ambaum team, the same people who build and run Shopify stores for our clients. Ambaum has been a Shopify Premier Partner since 2016. The products sit under Ambaum Labs, LLC.

Yes, by request. Aperchur is in private beta for Shopify brands. Platen is in private alpha for small teams that sell on relationships. Founderie works directly with business owners, trustees and PE operating partners. Each build has its own page here, with a link to its site.

AI does the slow work: pulling data together, research, verification and first drafts. People stay in charge of decisions and of anything that goes out. Platen never sends a message on its own, and Founderie never takes possession of an owner's records.

Most of it comes straight out of client work. Aperchur started with a Shopify brand whose numbers never agreed across Shopify, ads and email. The same AI and data work is what we do for brands through AI enablement and agentic commerce.
